Summer—a great time for reading entertaining and inspiring books. Thank you for reading Women Going For It! Taking Risks After 50   and telling others.

Sharing stories of women taking new risks after 50 through illustrated book talks, at libraries, retirement communities, and homes throughout Maine, and in Massachusetts and New York, has introduced me to lots of interesting people. Everyone has a unique tolerance for risk which makes for lively discussions.

“I attended your talk on my 51st birthday with my daughter so I can start thinking of other things I can do at this stage of my life.”  —Rockport, Maine

“I have two jobs and my co-worker just died. My fear is I will continue working two jobs, go home to bed, and die. That’s my life. I came for inspiration and had no idea Gladys, from our church choir, was in your book. What a surprise!”  —Newburgh, NY

5 Star Review— “Enjoyed this book tremendously”

“As a woman over 60 who made changes that were uncomfortable at times, I really enjoyed reading this book. I could relate to some of the stories and found the author’s insights very good.”
